These are the perfect muffin cups for banana bread muffins. The color matches my muffins' goldenness perfectly, and I am convinced that they would look more appetizing neither without any cups nor with any other kind. Bravo, whoever made these. The only problem I had is that they would occasionally flip over while putting in the dough, but it only happened once or twice, and might have been my tin's fault rather than the cup.

I wasn't sure if the cakes would come out as cute and pretty as the mold, but they really do! Since I'm not big on baking or cooking, I didn't go all the way and decorate them (and my little one hates icing anyway!), but it didn't matter - they still looked great! (And I think if you were to put icing on them, you'd really have to go all the way with different colors, crystals, etc. because then you'd lose some of the detail when you cover it up with the icing, so you'd have to work hard to bring it all out again!)

As an ex-pastry chef turned father of twins I used these daily in our restaurant and now they still make the most evenly baked muffins for our boys. Just brush each cup lightly with fat, and set a timer for one minute when you take them out of the oven...I have never had one stick yet...I'm sure these will still be in use when I am baking for our grandkids, and someone will probably use them generations after that.

We bought this to replace your run-of-the-mill metal muffin tin. My husband makes mini egg quiches in these and doesn't use papers, so they get really messy. Since I hate hand-washing the thing, it goes in the dishwasher and ends up rusting. Enter the silicone muffin tray and my life is so much better. Since they are non-stick there is barely any mess to start with, plus it's dishwasher safe...and I am very happy.

Norpro Nonstick 24 Cup Mini Muffin Pan Review

Norpro Nonstick 24 Cup Mini Muffin Pan
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was looking for the best mini-muffin pans and subscribe to a cooking magazine that does many product reviews. The Nopro muffin pan was highly ranked so I hoped the mini-muffin pan would be as good. This is a top-quality pan. The metal weight is substantial and will not warp (if you are ever short on batter and have some empty cups always fill empties about 1/2 way with water so the pan does not burn or warp). The nonstick surface seems very thick and even and I think you would have to seriously damage this surface to ever have the possibility of rust (to be careful, get a box of flat toothpicks at the supermarket and use them to loosen muffins if ever needed--you'll never scratch your non-stick surfaces). I have some cheaper mini muffin pans that I compared with these in a baking session and those did not release the muffins and did not bake evenly but these did (I always use a tiny bit of spray canola oil regardless of what pan I use for muffins). Baking in these pans is very even. The bottoms and outside edges of the muffins are browned as well as the tops...even and golden all over.
One long edge of these pans is slightly rolled down, which I like. I put that edge facing my oven door and then when I am ready to remove from the oven I slide my rack slightly out, push the pan forward and then wrap my mitt around the rolled edge. This edge gives you a firm one-handed hold on the pan that a short, flat edge does not allow. When these pans are stacked it is a very, very low profile.
Clean-up for these pans is a breeze..just a tiny squirt of soap and a light run with a sponge or cloth gave me a perfectly clean pan. I have double ovens and can do 6 batches at once so I stocked up on these pans and have been very glad to have them.

I have never made smaller muffins before, and this pan was wonderful for it! I have also made little cheesecake bites, little veggie cups, and of course cupcakes. The non-stick feature helps in getting the mini treat out of the pan and makes for easy clean up. All my treats cooked evenly. I love the Cuisinart brand and will continue to purchase their products. Very affordable, and a great value.

The perfect muffin is moist and flavorful with a crisp, browned top, but most muffin tins produce anything but perfect results. That's why this 24-cup mini muffin pan is such a keeper. Hailing from the Chef's Classic line, the pan is made of heavy-gauge aluminized steel, a durable material that heats evenly and delivers extra-consistent baking results. In addition, the pan features a slick nonstick coating on both sides, ensuring an easy release even without the use of shortening or butter. Muffins will pop out with nothing more than a slight pull. Less sturdy pans might wilt under excessive heat, but Chef's Classic bakeware provides extra-thick rolled rims, which prevent warping even after years of use. Oven-safe to 450 degrees F, the bakeware is dishwasher-safe--though it also cleans easily by hand due to its nonstick surface. The muffin pan measures approximately 15 by 11 by 2 inches and carries a limited lifetime warranty.

Calphalon Classic Bakeware 6-Cup Nonstick Muffin Pan Review

Calphalon Classic Bakeware 6-Cup Nonstick Muffin Pan
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I love that there is a 6-cup muffin tin available. It's so handy to have, if you want to make a half batch of muffins, or you have a muffin recipe that makes more than the standard 12. This pan will solve your problems!
It is made of aluminized steel and has a darkened surface. This means you will need to lower the temperature of your muffin recipes by 25 degrees to get the best results.
I'm not a big fan of aluminized steel for most baking purposes (for cake pans and cookie sheets, plain aluminum works best). However, for muffins, the darker surface of aluminized steel has advantages - the muffins get crispy on the outside while staying tender on the inside. Just watch the temperature you use - and check your muffins early to make sure they don't overcook!
Calphalon muffin pans are truly nonstick - your muffins will glide out of the pan, and paper liners are unnecessary.

Anolon Advanced Nonstick Bakeware 12-Cup Muffin and Cupcake Pan Review

Anolon Advanced Nonstick Bakeware 12-Cup Muffin and Cupcake Pan
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I picked one of these pans up at my local TJ Maxx--- they only had one, or I would have gotten a couple. I am waiting for Amazon to get them back in stock and I will purchase another one for sure, they are HEAVY, will not warp, will not rust, and the silicone grips make it really easy to get a full pan in and out of the oven. They are nice and heavy and things bake evenly in them...but take note that since heavier pans hold more heat, cakes and muffins don't take as long to bake as they do in the old flimsy pans. Muffins and popovers with no liners turn out beautifully--one time I even forgot to spray them and my corn muffins still came out without sticking. This bakeware lives up to the Analon name.

Wilton Excelle Elite 12-Cup Mini Muffin Pan Review

Wilton Excelle Elite 12-Cup Mini Muffin Pan
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This product is rated the top muffin pan by America's Test Kitchen and Cooksillustrated.com. It's a subscription site, so I can't link it, so I quote them here:
"We like darker, nonstick muffin tins for both muffins and cupcakes. They're better at conducting heat than shiny uncoated tins and so are better at browning, yielding baked goods with more flavor. Our favorite is the Wilton Ultra-Bake, in part because of its reasonable weight and in part because of a generous 2-inch lip that provides a convenient handle. Wilton Ultra-Bake turned out ideal cupcakes and muffins and boasts the thoughtful (and rare) addition of handles."
I find their equipment reviews to be very reliable, and I use them to guide my purchases of new items and replacement equipment.

Silicone Solutions 12 cup Mini Muffin Pans Review

Silicone Solutions 12 cup Mini Muffin Pans
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)

The quality seems lower than similar products I own. The actual silicone of this pan has a more crude finish and heft. That would be alright, but the part that has me worried is the smell. It's a plastic, chemical smell that my other silicone products do not have. Since you bake on high heat with it, the smell makes me question if chemicals will be breaking down or off-gassing into my food. Ingesting toxins is something I'd rather avoid, so it's going back.

I run a small baking/cupcake business and have tried many different cupcake (muffin) pans over the years. I didn't really think that there was much of a difference between pans, until I tried this one. My cupcakes come out with a perfect dome on top, the sides never stick, and they are always perfectly cooked from top to bottom. I definetly recommend spending the extra money and gettin a quality cupcake pan like this one! I do wash it in the dishwasher, and have not had any problems thus far.

Nordic Ware Muffin Pan with Lid - 12 cup Standard Size Review

Nordic Ware Muffin Pan with Lid - 12 cup Standard Size
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Do you ever make a wonderful batch of cupcakes or muffins and then wonder how to store them until your family or guests get to enjoy them? Me, too, but no more. I hate wrapping things with plastic wrap. Trying to stack lovely baked goods into a bulky, mismatched container in a desperate attempt to protect them bothers me even more.
This is the solution: a muffin pan with its own cover. Just bake, cool, and then cover to store. You can then remove muffins or cupcakes one at a time, leaving the remainder protected until the next time. Or take the whole pan to a picnic or potluck, or to share with your colleagues at work.
This lid is interchangeable with the lids on two other, highly useful Nordic Ware products: the Nordic Ware 9-by-13-Inch Cake Pan with Storage Lid, which is also about the size of a lasagna pan, and the Nordic Ware Baker's Quarter 9x12 Sheet Jelly Roll Pan with Storage Lid, which is basically a small cookie sheet with a lid. These two are available as a combo if you like, with a single shared lid: Nordic Ware 3 Piece Baker's Quarter Sheet and Cake Pan Combo Pack with Lid.
Note: it's best to handwash these pans, as either harsh detergent or hard water will stain them in most dishwashers, but they clean up very easily with soap and a dish brush and virtually no scrubbing. ENJOY!
By the way: there are other opportunities here! Try thinking creatively with the sheet pans with lid, both the quarter size listed above that has a lid also used for the cupcake/muffin and lasagna/cake pans, and the twice-as-big Nordic Ware Baker's Half Sheet with Storage Lid 13 Inch by 18 Inch (which is available together with the quarter size in the Nordic Ware 4 Piece Bakers Half and Quarter Sheet Combo Pack with Lids, each with its own lid, of course, since they're different sizes).
These so-called sheet pans, basically cookie pans with lids, are for much more than cookies. I'm reviewing them here because Amazon limits reviews to one per product family, so please bear with me.
The smaller one exactly fits the deli pack of sliced blocks of different types of cheeses that are sold in many grocery stores near us. Line the small cookie sheet with waxed paper, aluminum foil or something pretty like kale or spinach leaves, rip the plastic off the nicely laid-out deli package, slap the ready-to-serve cheese slices onto the cookie sheet, and put the cover on to store in the fridge until party time, transport to a picnic, or whatever. Presto: in about 15 seconds, you have a pretty display ready for the crackers of your choice. Would also work very well with deli meats, cooked shrimp, crudites, etc. None of these uses require cooking in the pan --you can just use it as a storage container.
But of course you can cook in these pans. I love roasting vegetables in the sheet pans (use the cake pan, though, if the vegetables are especially tall when laid on their side) and then refrigerating them with the lid on so that the vegetables can be added to various dishes all week long.
The larger one, in addition to many other uses, makes an incredibly impressive cheese platter. Recently we lined the so-called "half sheet" (a misleading name -- it's actually VERY large!) with kale, placed an entire round of brie and a half-round of bleu cheese into the top two quadrants of the pan, fit two rounds of soft garlicky cheese (Alouette or similar) towards the middle below the top two large items, and then laid small clusters of green grapes with 3-10 grapes each, here and there, around the whole pan. Snuck 3 pretty, small cheese knives, one for each type of cheese, in among the grape clusters, and then put the lid on. Paired it with an identical pan filled with nicely laid out crackers from an "entertainment" box purchased at our local grocery store containing separate plastic-wrapped sleeves of Carr's water crackers, ritz-type crackers and 3 or 4 other types, all perfect for cheese, and again all protected in their nice layout on the cookie sheet by its lid. Dumped the 2 pans into the trunk of the car and drove to a barbecue where we had been asked to bring cheese. Both trays looked beautiful under their see-through lids, I have to admit. We also brought the smaller size tray with the pre-arranged deli-sliced blocks of different types of hard cheese as described above. When we opened the trunk and our hosts saw the trays, their eyes nearly bugged out and they literally gasped with delight. They asked what caterer we'd bought the platters from and hardly believed it when we said we'd put it all together ourselves. They continued to rave about our cheese platters for weeks afterward. Again easy, simple, almost no work -- and exceptionally convenient to transport. The large rounds of brie and bleu cheese just barely fit under the pan's cover, which, when you think about it, is impressive, since they call these pans "sheet pans" (think cookie sheet or jelly roll pan -- usually not very tall, right? but in this case, a lot more space under the cover than you'd expect).
I also use either covered sheet pan to store mini-cupcakes or mini-muffins (works for cupcakes as long as they aren't mounded up too much with frosting or decorations), as well as to serve cookies (I wash the pans while the cookies are cooling and than transfer them back to the pan for storage).
And the so called cake pan (or lasagna pan, as I think of it), is useful not only for casseroles or other baked dishes but to carry large volumes of side dishes to picnics or potlucks, whether or not they were originally cooked in the pan. There's also a Nordic Ware 9 Inch Square Cake Pan with Lid, which I think of as a brownie pan and use not just for brownies but for anything else whenever a slightly smaller version of the cake/lasagna pan is needed.
Be inventive! :) And enjoy the convenient storage and transport, with these lids sized exactly right for all these incredibly useful pan types.

I bake a lot of muffins and popovers. Probably bake two to three times per week or more. I've been using this pan for about 2 months and simply love it. The non-stick really works. It also cleans up very easily. It seems in the past, I'd have trouble with my non-stick spray getting baked on top of my muffin pan--and then finding it impossible to clean. This pan cleans up easily in the sink with a plastic scrubber and some dish soap. It is by far the best muffin pan I've had. Highly recommended.
