A 12 cup mini muffin tin is of no use to me. I much prefer a 24 cup pan. It's ok though I will save it for a gift.

Sunbeam FPSBCML900 Cupcake Mixer, Pink Review

Sunbeam FPSBCML900 Cupcake Mixer, Pink
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've had the Sunbeam heart shaped waffle maker for about 12 years now and it's still going strong and works great so I didn't hesitate to buy this cupcake maker and also the donut maker. We have an 11 year old who loves to help cook so this was perfect for her. WOW is all I can say. I have a $2,000 Kitchenaid convection oven and I'll never use it again to bake cupcakes or muffins. The first morning we used it I tried it with one of those Martha White quick mix muffin mix and they were perfect. I find that even with an expensive oven I have to usually turn the muffin tins around half way through baking but this bakes everything evenly. I JUST finished 2 dozen cupcakes from a Duncan Heines cake mix and they turned out better then anything I've made in my oven. Set the kitchen timer for 12 minutes and each batch was done perfectly. If you're in a super hurry maybe not the best option as you can do it faster in a regular oven but it was half the work not having to worry about forever checking my oven to make sure half of them weren't over done. This product ROCKS and this is from a mom who has been baking for 25 years. All Teflon coated products have an initial smell to them but I didn't find that it smelled up my house like another poster here. I give this 5 stars for the super easy clean up (NONE) and another 5 stars for even baking. Just a super great product. Thanks Sunbeam, I've been a user of your products for years and will continue to enjoy them for years to come

I absolutely LOVE this pan...I have 10 of them! They're perfect for molten chocolate cakes, cheesecakes and other individual desserts. I recently made 200 individual cheesecakes for an event and this pan produced beautiful results.
Make sure to turn the pan halfway through baking to ensure even results...and use 2.5" parchment circles on the bottoms for easy cleanup.

I just received this item, and the shells are significantly smaller than I imagined they would be. Really cute, but sort of a midsized shell. a mini-muffin size? Too deep/thick for a variation on a classic madeleine. still really cute.

Very easy to cook and remove from pan.
The heart-shaped cavities are so rounded that it's hard to tell the little pastries are even heart-shaped when they are out of the pan. Top part of heart needs to have a stronger dimple, and bottom part of heart needs to be more pointed.

Microhearth 1-1/2-Quart Covered Nonstick 4-Piece Everyday Pan Set with Steam Pan and Muffin Pan
Average Reviews:

Surprisingly, this pan does the job that it claims for. I have Chef Tony version of microwave cooker. Even though it did cook in a microwave and tasted good, it was not friendly to use it because its pan really gets hot to handle and some parts come off easily when washing . But, I like the convenience of using microwave. Then, I found this Microhearth and I wanted to give it a try. I am so glad that I did. Not only it looks better than the other one,but its performance is also impressive. I use this pan almost everyday ever since. Now, I am thinking to check out their Grill Pan. I recommend this product to people who cook simple meal for two people.

Quickly create delicious, hassle-free meals at home with this cleverly designed 1-1/2-quart microwave-cooking pan, which measures approximately 13 by 13 by 7 inches. The pan allows for replicating the authentic flavors of grilled, broiled, baked, boiled, sauted, stir-fried, and steamed foods in the convenience of a microwave oven, while eliminating odors, spatters, and the wasted time and energy required to heat a conventional oven or fire up the grill. Use the pan for making anything from scrambled eggs, sausage, breakfast toast, crispy bacon, and boiled eggs in the shell (without bursting) to steak, roasted salmon, flavored rice, chicken nuggets, and more. The pan works by preventing electromagnetic waves from penetrating food, which causes food to dry out, and instead converts the electromagnetic waves into far infrared energy for cooking. The result: moist and mouthwatering meats (no defrosting required), good-as-new leftovers, and appetizing snacks throughout the day.
Specially constructed of high-heat-resistant SPS plastic with low heat conductivity, the unit remains cool and retains its shape even during cooking and after multiple uses. It also provides an easy-to-clean nonstick interior, a wide rim for secure transport, and a ceramic-coated, painted-steel lid with a stay-cool handle. Accessories include a food-grade silicone steaming pan--which effortlessly steams favorite vegetables to fork-tender perfection while maintaining their full nutritive benefits--as well as a 4-cup silicone muffin pan, which can be used to quickly "bake" mouthwatering cupcakes, muffins, popovers, and more. Available in a variety of stylish colors, the 1-1/2-quart nonstick everyday pan washes clean easily by hand and the removable components nest inside the pan for compact storage between uses.

These are a bit big in the bottom, and didn't quite fit the baker's secret mini muffin pans that I bought from amazon at the same time. You could force them in, but they would make wrinkly little cakes.
The mini liners from cakemate are a little smaller and fit better.

Oxo Good Grips Cookie Scoop Review

Oxo Good Grips Cookie Scoop
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This cookie scoop from Oxo has improved my cookies markedly. You know how that last minute or two in the oven is critical--the difference between underdone, just right, and burnt-around-the-edges? Well, if your cookies aren't the same size to start, you're never going to hit that "just right" sweet spot. The big ones are underdone when the little ones are just right, or if the big ones are perfect, the small ones are burnt. I used to scoop cookie dough with a spoon, but this little gem of a tool is much more precise and neater to use.
Unlike cheaper scoops, the squeeze action is very smooth. It doesn't stick halfway through the squeeze, it doesn't require a lot of pressure, and the release is firm but not too firm--I used a scoop once that had a recoil like a rifle.
By the way, I have narrow hands but don't find the width of the handles to be a problem. Oxo is well known for its ergonomic designs, and this tool is no exception--I just baked 10 dozen cookies for a school event and my hands weren't tired at all. (My back is another matter!)
The dough releases well (even really sticky doughs like almond macaroons) and drops in a nice rounded ball into your hand. A quick roll to round off the bottom and it's ready for the cookie sheet.
The rated measure is 1-1/2 tablespoon (that's level, by the way) (well, of COURSE I checked for myself... I'm a baker, and that means "compulsive about measuring"). Oxo also makes a large and small scoop, but this one is the best size for the kitchen standard cookies: tollhouse, peanut butter, and the like.
I've thrown mine in the dishwasher several times with no problem. This is a good thing, because there are several crevices inside the handles and in the spring mechanism between them that could be a bit fiddly once the peanut butter dries.
Do yourself (and your cookie-eaters) a favor and pick up this gadget. I can't find a thing in the world wrong with it.

For easy scooping and consistently round cookies, try an OXO Good Grips Cookie Scoop. OXO Scoops have soft grips that absorb pressure while you squeeze to easily release your cookie dough. This medium size scoop holds 1.5 tablespoons of cookie dough and produces a 2.75 inch cookie.

Nordic Ware Platinum Collection Cast Aluminum Garland Bundt Pan Review

Nordic Ware Platinum Collection Cast Aluminum Garland Bundt Pan
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This pan was my initial Nordicware pan purchase, and was the reason that I bought 4 others (1 other mini, 1 tart pan and 2 shaped full-sized bundts). I love the construction on all my Nordicware pans, this mini-bundt pan included. The details on the pan and the resulting cakes gives great presentation value - cakes brown evenly and the bottoms have a smooth, glassy look to them. You do have to bake at a lower temperature though (325 degrees) or your cakes will darken too much. I've used generous sprays of Baker Joy to grease this pan and have never had a problem with cakes sticking. Lastly, clean up is relatively easy and I've found that plastic scrub pads (the flat, square type) work best and don't ruin the non-stick finish. With the details in the pan though, you'll have to make sure that all the crevices are clear of crumbs when cleaning them.

Nordic Ware Platinum Backyard Bugs Pan Review

Nordic Ware Platinum Backyard Bugs Pan
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Nordic Ware Platinum pans are lifetime pans that you'll pass on someday! This BUG pan is the cutest ever! Some tips I got from a PRO: 1. heat the pan as you pre heat the oven, then spray it while its HOT and fill it. 2. 1/3 cup batter per bug is plenty. 3. To make the bottoms flat, lay a knife down on the pan, before you remove the cakes, and slide it thru the bottom of the cake, removing the humps. 4. Cool cakes in pan 10 min then pour out on parchment paper. 5. Use a hotter oven (375) and a little shorter time to get the most definition of the bugs. 6. Never use SOAP on the pan, or put it in the dishwasher, just rinse it while its HOT and set in the warm oven to DRY. The Platinum Series gives you PERFECT release of baked goods and NEVER needs scrubbing. (I wrote these tips down because they work soooo well, and these top of the line pans deserve a little extra care.) I buy the Platinum pans as they are issued and some I have are over 10 years old and are still PERFECT because I use these tips!

Wilton Heart Silicone Baking Cups, 12 Count Review

Wilton Heart Silicone Baking Cups, 12 Count
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
These are adorable looking, and they even have a handy fill line on the inside. I'm not sure, however, if I would purchase these again. I think silicone baking cups are great, but if you leave your cupcakes or muffins in them for too long after baking they will still stick, but if you take your baked goods out, they dry out quickly. Also, once you take them out it's not that obvious they are a heart shape. You might as well use round ones. Or stand alone foil baking cups...I think I'll use those next time. Also, they are dishwasher safe but I'm not sure where to put them in my dishwasher where they wouldn't just fall.
I was so surprised that I didn't love these.

Amco Round Egg Rings, Set of 2 Review

Amco Round Egg Rings, Set of 2
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am unaware of the coating peeling off or rusting as some of the previous reviewers mentioned. I can only say that since these are not all stainless steel, wash them with a sponge and soapy water and dry them right after. I wouldn't bother using any type of abrasive sponge since you would damage the finish.
If you are having any trouble cooking the egg properly, here are a few tips. Use a non stick pan. You have to coat the ring with butter (as directed in the instructions). Also, put the buttered ring on a pan first and let it heat up, then crack the egg into the ring. After the egg cooks for about 3 minutes, lift the ring up to let the egg fall out. Then flip the egg over to cook the other side. If the egg sticks to the ring while trying to flip, shake the ring a tiny bit and it will fall right out.

PaperChef Culinary Parchment 60 Large Baking Cups Review

PaperChef Culinary Parchment 60 Large Baking Cups
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have previously used paper baking cups and have had a horrible time getting them separated. Even though I purchased them in bulk, I eventually gave up and decided to purchase the PaperChef Culinary Parchment Baking Cups. I'm glad I did. They are super easy to get separated and are worth every penny. That are a bit thicker feeling than the standard plain white paper cups. The size was good for most standard sized muffin tins. They were great for a couple of muffin pans I had, however, another pan was a bit smaller (had more of a slant to it). But still well fitting for most. If you are looking for baking cups or liners for jumbo sized muffins, take a look at the PaperChef Culinary Parchment 30 X-Large Baking Cups. Definitely recommended.
