(More customer reviews)I use these to cook my breakfast each morning. I put a 2 chicken sausage ball each in a cup and microwave for 45 seconds. I then put an egg in two cups, spinach in one. Run the Microwave for 45 seconds. release the eggs from the sides and remove the spinach. Cook the eggs for 25 more seconds. Very fast and delicious. No added fat.
Before these silicon cups I had tried Pyrex dishes with covers. Then had to scrub the eggs out.
I tried egg specific microwave dishes. Eggs stick to them or you had to add oil.
These silicon cups are very flexible/squeezable but are rigid enough to stand alone. They clean very easily. While the eggs sometimes stick they are very easy to wipe clean.
My daughter cooked muffins in the oven with them and the muffins popped rite out.
So far, I have seen no down side in these.

My cakes came out of them easily, and everyone had their own favorite shape; it's a little hard to tell from the pictures, but the shapes are a wreath, a star, a poinsettia, and a ring of trees.

(More customer reviews)My sister, being the person she is, asked me to bake 30 mini cupcakes for her friend's birthday party. Since we had just moved and have yet to complete my dream kitchen, we went out to our local kroger and bought 2 of these wonderful pans. And you know, with the results I would've bought more if we weren't on a budget. They spread heat almost throughly throughout the pan and really is non-stick (the burnt batter on the edges come off cleanly) and cool down fast! I found I could take them out of a 350 degree oven, take out the cupcakes and the pan would be cool enough for me to pour more batter in without burning my hands, making this a great pans for those around kids or a child baker. The one hilarious thing I read about this pan is that on the label, it says "Metal Spatula safe" could you really fit a spatula in there? But then I read the back and it lists all these things that CAN'T come in contact with the non-stick coating. Including metal forks, spoons, knives, glass, etc. Which just left a look of questioning on my face. Overall, this is an extremely good pan that helps portion control and ease clean-up. I highly recommend this to anybody who likes two-bite muffins(or cupcakes!)

(More customer reviews)This is the best silicone muffin pan I've ever used. The one feature that sets it apart is the sturdy, hard silicone handles. You can pick it up and it won't collapse under it's own weight. Some silicone pans use a metal tray because they are so flimsy. You don't have to worry with this model. But you do have let your muffins cool about ten minutes before you can pop them out of the pan. So you might want to have two or four sets so you can always have a batch baking while a set is cooling. While the photo doesn't show any scale, this model bakes standard sized muffins.

(More customer reviews)This was a great quality, fun pan. I used it to make whole pumpkins (put 2 together) and they turned out just darling. The cakes slid right out and cooked evenly. You need to be careful to fill only about 2/3 full if you want to make whole "pumpkins" and not have to cut off any "muffin top" before putting them together. I own a few Nordic Ware items and love each and every one.

Chicago Metallic 60640 Gourmetware Original Muffin Top Pan Review

(More customer reviews)I had bought muffin top pans a few years ago, from a different manufacturer, and they were just plain awful. I really liked the idea of a pan like this that actually worked, and after reading the reviews, I decided to buy two of them. They are even better than I had hoped for. I have multiple allergies and have to use non-wheat flours, so I was understandably skeptical when I mixed up the first batch. They turned out perfectly. With many non-wheat flours, you won't get the rise and height that you would with wheat flour, because the gluten just isn't there in the right quantity. That aside, the muffins were excellent, and very moist. The muffins slid right out with no problems, and nothing stuck. Does it get any better than that? This is one of the few non-stick pans that I've used, that actually didn't stick. Quick release and nothing is left behind. I have several pieces of Chicago Metallic backeware; they are a little more expensive than other brands, but there is very high quality, and they are worth every penny. I am seriously considering buying two more of these pans. They do just what they are supposed to and are very easy to use. This is the best non-stick item I have ever used, and it is the only one that worked the way it was supposed to. I'd give it ten stars, but Amazon only goes as high as five.

Nordic Ware Platinum Collection Pumpkin Patch Pan Review

(More customer reviews)What is the primary difference between this pan and a basic mini-bundt pan? The picture doesn't do the pan justice. Some of the pumpkins are a little narrower and taller and some are a bit squatty. There are leaves and tendrils embossed on the pumpkins -- all differences from the standard mini-bundt pan.
You get what you pay for, and the quality of this pans is worth the money, and properly cared for, it will last a lifetime. For perfect unmolding every time -- although the pan is non-stick, it needs to be properly prepared -- and that is most easily accomplished by using either Wilton's cake release or a cooking spray designed for baking (one that contains flour.)
To ensure a perfect unmolding, let the cake cool upright for ten minutes after removing it from the oven before inverting it. Too soon and the cakes will be fragile and may fall apart, longer than 10 minutes and the cakes begin to adhere to the pan and may stick. And, as with all non-stick surface pans, never use metal utensils or harsh scouring pads on the pan.
Dense batters work best because coarse batters (lots of air and little fat) have lots of bubbles which reduce the amount of detail reflected in the finished cake. There are many recipes for pound cakes and bundt cakes that will work perfectly with this pan, along with the recipe included with the pan from Nordic Ware. Give the pan a good rap on the counter before putting it in the oven to release any trapped air bubbles. The cakes produced are intricate and highly detailed. It looks like much effort was expended. These pumpkin cakes will add a lovely touch to a Thanksgiving buffet or a Halloween themed party.
