Wilton Easy Flex Silicone Mini Loaf Pan Review

(More customer reviews)I happily ordered 2 of these .... holidays coming and I wanted to get a jump start.
One of the pans scorched around the top edges after it's first time in the oven.
The second one scorched inside, on the bottom and sides after 2-3 uses.
I was very careful with using these pans. I looked up on the net about how to use these = no greasing needed before using and do not use above 350 degrees so that's what I did.
I was so very careful using the pans.
The scorching is very disappointing. I cannot believe this is suppose to happen.
Otherwise, I love these pans as I love to make many many dessert breads for Christmas "thinking of you" gifts.
The breads release from the pan so nicely and both fit in the oven at the same time.
It would be great if this problem could be fixed.

Not only are they one small step in saving the environment, but they work better than regular ones. Muffins come out so much more easily. I like the look of the little brown boxes. Some of mine will be used for small gifts for family and friends. I live in a remote area now and don't have access to stores that carry specialty items like these so I have to buy in quantity from the internet. I was so happy to find them available at Amazon.

Nonstick 4-Piece Egg/Pancake Ring Set Review

(More customer reviews)These rings are the perfect size for making eggs to put on english muffins or small hamburger buns. (like the Breakfast Jack) I have not tried to make pancakes in them, because they would be really tiny and I do not have a need for perfectly round pancakes. This product consists of four separate rings that can connect to a handle. I have had my best results when I just use the rings by themselves and don't bother with the handle. The eggs still stick to the edge of the ring a little bit, so I have to tap the spatula against the ring as I am lifting it up (using a glove-style potholder. When the rings are all connected it is harder to get each egg out of the ring cleanly. Also, be aware that if your pan is a little warped, then a little bit of egg can leak from under the ring. If you just leave it, however, the little bit that leaks will cook fast and prevent more from leaking out.
Overall, I love these! I worked at Jack in the Box as a teenager and have always wanted egg rings. I gave it 4 stars just because the handle is kind of flimsy and it really is impractical to use for pancakes.

Norpro 12 Cup Standard Muffin Tin Review

If you are looking for a healthier alternative to nonstick (and tin), I suggest a stoneware muffin pan. Pampered Chef is the only company that I know of who makes one. Check their website for a more fair price than the one listed on this website. ;)

I was scared to used them at first because I thought they might stick but I gave them a quick spray and they peeled right off my cupcakes like usual. When peeled off they end up in this nice little square of paper. That's probably not relevant but I thought it was interesting. Definitely classy wrappers that made my cupcakes look gorgeous. I also purchased the brown of these as well.

You have full control of how much batter to dispense, and the best part was that the bottom didn't even get messy like I expected! Also, its nonstick and dishwasher safe - BUT best of all, there are NO SEAMS around the CUPS like there usually are to catch gunk! It is MOLDED (stamped out) in one SMOOTH piece, soooo easy to clean. Bound to last a lifetime, this is the last muffin tin you'll ever buy! Its worth trying just for that smooth top! (and Made by Nordic Ware in the good ole USA!)
PS: Do not use PAM or any kind of pan release spray on non stick anything! Use paper cups, and if you want to, just mist the tin with oil before you put it in the oven.

Wilton Mini 6 Cavity Flower Silicone Mold Review

(More customer reviews)I LOVE this pan! It's made of nice, thick, quality silicone, and it makes the cutest star-shaped muffins! It's AWESOME, and really easy to work with. There's no need to buy any more paper liners for muffins or cupcakes!
It's dishwasher safe, and I love how I don't have to worry about rust, which was a constant problem with my metal muffin tins. Also, they're super-flexible, so you can bend them any which way to store them, or to fit them into the dishwasher, and they always retain their sweet little star form afterwards.
Finally, a couple tips for silicone baking:
1. ALWAYS spray the cups with non-stick cooking spray before filling them with batter. I use the butter-flavored Mazola spray. Just so you know, and you don't freak out when you see it, the pan gets discolored on the top from the baked-on cooking spray that didn't land into the cups. Don't worry, they're not ruined. It's normal.
2. Make sure you bake your food for several minutes LESS than called for on your recipe. I learned that the hard way. Food baked in silicone bakes faster. I wound up with plenty of burned muffins. :( For example, I make muffins in this pan on a regular basis, which are supposed to bake 16-21 minutes. I usually bake them about 13-14 minutes, and they're perfect, golden brown.
Another fantastic Wilton product! You won't regret buying this!
