(More customer reviews)I am a long time biscuit maker. I certainly know how to pat out the dough and cut them. However, with this pan I use my large ice cream disher and just drop them in, brush with butter and bake.
I put a little butter (or bacon grease) in each section and put the pan in oven when I turn it on to preheat to 430 degrees. That is one of the keys....have the pan hot. Makes a wonderful, crust on the bottom and sides and you don't have the mess of patting out the dough. Makes nice crusty
