Be very careful when prepping these with grease and flour not to miss any spots. The frosted cupcakes looked great but were a little top-heavy and wanted to slump over after a while. I used toothpicks to keep them propped up until the party started.

(More customer reviews)Great product for what it is. It is a piece of high quality, but thin, stainless steel with a slightly rolled edge on three sides; that's it and nothing more.
The price is right and it has one very rare feature, it is MADE-IN-THE-USA!!!! I've been using them for about three months now and have only one complaint:
It is so thin that it sometimes warps when placed in a very hot oven; shape returns once cooled. If they were slightly thicker they would be perfect.
I would recommend it.

Fat Daddio's Anodized Aluminum Square Cake Pans Review

(More customer reviews)It's very hard to get yeast breads to rise when you cook gluten free and when they do rise, they will fall in traditional bread pans. This little pan is extra high and supports the dough as it rises so the bread doesn't fall. It makes a very nice slice of bread that can be halved for a small sandwich. The anodized aluminum also makes for a very nicely browned loaf.
I have these pans in the 4X4, 6X6, and 8X8 sizes. They are all great for yeast breads, sweet breads and cakes. And baked goods don't stick to them easily. I love them.

Fox Run Wooden Tart Tamper with Different Diameter Ends Review

However, the picture of this on Amazon shows it in the process of tamping dough in a tart tin, thus concealing the fact that the large end, like the visible smaller end, is only 3/8" thick. Being this thin prevents one from kinda rolling the tamper diagonally to squish the sides of the dough to the sides of the tart tin or muffin panFox Run Wooden Tart Tamper with Different Diameter Ends.
I wish I had purchased the one from ChefGadget. It's base appears to be between 1/2" and 3/4" thick. The only reason I didn't was because Prime wasn't offered on it which made it quite a bit more expensive. Had I been able to compare the bottoms (i.e. the larger end's thickness of this and the Chefgadget) I wouldn't have wasted my money on the Fox Run Tamper. I realize Amazon didn't create the picture, but used the one provided by the manufacturer. Thank you, Amazon, for your great return policy.

(More customer reviews)I used my new Kitchenaid 9" round cake pans today and they work great!! I lightly sprayed them with Pam cooking spray that contained flour. They bake beautifully without any attempt to stick. I placed the silicone pans directly on the oven cooking rack without the use of a baking sheet. They sat perfectly level on the oven rack. Taking them out of the oven is a breeze. The cake pans cool quickly and were easy to handle. They have a wide brim that allows you to hold the pans securely. I love these pans! I have ordered the Heart shaped and Square pans. Get these pans while they are cheap in price. You can not go wrong. Use Pam spray and your cakes will pop out like mine without any trouble. Also, these pans will interlock inside one another for easy storage.

Silicone Zone Square Cake Pan Review

(More customer reviews)It's particularly good for things like layer cakes and small items, that can be hard to get out of the pan. Flip it over and twist the opposite corners, and it falls right out - in one piece with no gouges from trying to wedge it out of the pan. Cleanup is very easy too.

You should know a couple of things. First, the silicone is very slick, but you still need to grease the pan for baking. It's not as nonstick as teflon. Second, the pan is flexible, so you'll want to put it on a cookie sheet before filling, and bake with the pan resting on the cookie sheet.

Chicago Metallic 12-Cup Dainty Daisy-Cupcake Pan Review

(More customer reviews)I saw this pan and couldn't resist purchasing it. It's a very heavy, well constructed bake pan. Plus, who could resist the opportunity to bake cute, little daisy shaped cupcakes?
This will take a bit of practice to figure out how far to fill the batter for different recipes. The first time I used it, I only got one cupcake that was tall enough to end up daisy shaped. However, I made carrot cake cupcakes that really just didn't rise high enough. I did get very good results though with a basic chocolate cupcake.
If you're going to bake these for a special occasion, make sure to do a trial run with the recipe in this pan or you'll probably end up with some missing petals.
The pan really releases the cupcakes well if for some reason you're not using liners. I lightly greased the pan and was able to lift the cupcakes right out without damaging them. Cleanup is a breeze, definitely no soaking required with this pan. Even the spilled batter on the top wiped right off.

They are thick paper on the inside, and held their shape perfectly. I'm tempted to stop using the grocery store foils altogether now because they're 1/10th the quality of these gold ones. wow.

I like to have some on hand because I don't always get to Wal-Mart two months before Christmas to buy the ones they bring in before they are sold out. I was not able to find this design in our local gourmet cooking stores or Ben Franklin, Target or Wal-Mart. Now that color foil liners are more common, I don't know if I will buy these again. Good for bake sales and parties.
